What is Bet-Seri Real Estate?
Bet-Seri Real Estate is a modern property listing platform that connects tenants, landlords, buyers, and agents across Ethiopia. We make finding or listing properties fast, safe, and transparent.
Is Bet-Seri free to use?
Creating an account and browsing properties is completely free. Certain premium services, such as featured listings or property verification, may involve a fee.
Which cities do you cover?
We currently operate primarily in Addis Ababa, Adama, Bahir Dar, Hawassa, and Dire Dawa — with plans to expand to more cities soon.
For Tenants & Buyers
How do I search for a property?
Use the search bar on the Properties page. You can filter by location, price range, property type (apartment, house, villa), number of bedrooms, and more.
How do I contact a landlord or agent?
Click on any property listing, then click the "Contact Owner" button. You can send an inquiry directly through the platform or view their contact details.
Are listings verified?
We verify premium listings marked with a blue checkmark. Always inspect a property in person before making payments.
Can I schedule a property viewing?
Yes. After contacting the property owner or agent, you can arrange a viewing date and time directly with them.
For Landlords & Agents
How do I list a property?
Register as a landlord or agent, then click "Post Property" in your dashboard. Fill in the property details, upload photos, and submit for approval.
How long does approval take?
Most listings are reviewed within 24 hours. You will be notified once your property is approved or if changes are needed.
Is there a listing fee?
Basic listings are free. Featured listings (which appear at the top of search results) and verification services have a small fee.
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Yes. Go to your dashboard, find the property, and click "Edit" to update any details.
Payments & Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Telebirr, CBE Birr, Chapa, bank transfers, and cash payments at our office. Details are shown at checkout.
Are payments secure?
Yes. All online payments are processed through secure, encrypted gateways. We never store your full card details.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are granted only in cases of duplicate payment or platform error. Please contact support within 7 days.
Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We will send a reset link to your registered email address.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Note that this action is permanent and will remove all your listings.
I think my account was hacked. What should I do?
Immediately reset your password and contact our support team at support@bet-seri.com so we can secure your account.
